After the game Skyrim came out on PC, Bethesda released a tool to allow artists to create their own content for the game. I have a history of game modding, so naturally I wanted to give this a shot. As an exercise to learn the tool, I decided to put one of the game’s main characters (group of characters), a Greybeard, into carbonite as a sort of joke/tribute to Star Wars. I posted the image on r/Skyrim just to see what people think. It’s rare in its self to get voted up at all on reddit, but the image ended up getting voted up to the #1 spot for most of the day. Bethesda even caught wind of it and put it on the game’s official facebook page, tweeted it out, and put it on their blog! Nerds rejoice.
