Andrez Aguayo and I created this short car chase animation as a test project to help familiarize ourselves with Cinema4D.
We both come from 3ds Max & Maya backgrounds, and this was our first major test of the C4D workflow.
Andrez created a fully featured car rigging tool using the Character Template system, and rigged up a few customized additions including a detailed suspension system and dynamic antennas.
I modeled and textured the parking garage environment, animated the cars & camera, and did all the shading using C4D's Physical rendering engine.
Andrez also did the water puddle simulations using PhoenixFD in 3ds Max.
