This was part of a fun design and modeling exercise I did with automotive designer Jon Iwata. We challenged each other to come up with an original design for a GT1 car inspired by our favorite '80s sports car. He chose to create a DeLorean while I made this Ferrari Testarossa inspired race car. My goal was to create something that could sit comfortably next to the Mercedes AMG CLK GTR and McLaren F1 GTR. I did the modeling in 3ds Max and shaded it using Arnold.
